Christmas pix

Been trying like crazy to get a good Christmas picture of Lukas and Maggie but it just doesn't seem to be working!

Maggie is either trying to brush Luki's hair or take the picture herself

......not an easy task.....;-)

This is cute,but where's Maggie?!?!?!?

The kids were anxious to get their surprises from St. Nicolaus on the morning of the 6th (an Austrian tradition). The bags are usually filled with some chocolate, oranges and nuts but Luki and Maggie also got some cute hand puppets. We went to a Nicolaus party put on by the little town we live in and it turned out being a nightmare. St. Nicolaus also brought along "Krampus", which is the bad guy who wears a scarey costume and scares kids that weren't good. Luckily Maggie slept but Lukas was totally freaked out and screaming.....we went home early.....;-)

Halloween in Einsiedl

Unfortunately this is the only Halloween picture I have this year.....very sad! Luki and I carved the pumpkins and had such a good time decorating things and getting our costumes ready (he had a mask to go with his cape and sword and I had an ugly wig and a witches nose).
We were talking about things all day and that some kids might come by and we would have to pass out some candy and that we might even be able to scare them! ;-) Lukas seemed really excited to put his costume on...as time passed by and no one came, we finally decided it was probably time to go to bed ( I have a bad cold and wasn't feeling too well anyway).
Not one person came and we have lots of candy left over.....maybe next year.
I think Lukas was a little confused about why nobody came and what I was talking about.

Cousins from Waidhofen came to see our new house!

What a fun day we had! A total of 17 people came for lunch and finally see our new house. Had a

great time, all the cousins had lots of fun together. Thanks to my mom too by the way for the absolutely FABULOUS cheesecake....definately impressed them!! ;-)
